TIPS TO CONQUER YOUR NEXT HAIR APPOINTMENT

It’s no secret that hairdressers are visual people. When you sit in your stylist’s chair, you are wanting them to understand you and your hair by the end of a five-minute consultation. What you wear can offer visual clues to your personality so your hairdresser can draw a fuller picture of you.

It also is a huge help to come to your appointment prepared with some fabulous, yet realistic, inspiration photos that can help your stylist map out your hair transformation.

Now let’s talk wardrobe. Since loud prints and bold colors can sway the eye and be distracting from your soon to be new and improved do, we recommend sticking to a neutral color palette so your stylist can snap that perfect photo of you and your dream hair at the end of your appointment.

Another tip to keep in mind is if you are booking for a color service, clothing such as turtlenecks and hoodies aren’t the best option as they tend to bunch/come up higher that stylists would like on your neck and could possibly get wet at the shampoo bowl or have access color rubbed on them from color near the nape of your neck. Another pro tip? Opt out of any long, dangly earrings or larger-sized hoops.
